The bottom four + Placid and Black Rise are primarily PvP markets. This doesn't necessarily mean PvP is bad for business, it just means business is riskier in PvP areas.
I've always said Lonetrek is one of the best trading regions in the game. This list backs me up on that. Not only is Lonetrek tops among regions without a main hub but if you subtract the numbers for the main hubs themselves from the numbers for their regions, Lonetrek is ahead of the main hub regions too, even beating out The Forge (Jita region) by a few hundred million.
As a comparison can you give us stats on the top 5 or so 0.0 markets?
ReplyDeleteMaybe sometime in the future. For now I'll just say Deklein and Fountain (with the 2 largest null hubs) are probably 2 of the largest null regional markets too and the numbers for those regions are:
DeleteDeklein 7,844 orders 818,092,489,887 ISK
Fountain 10,818 orders 893,733,505,389 ISK
Just a question. What percentage of the total orders are for PLEX? I remember Dr Eyjo a couple of years ago at Fanfest stating that PLEX made up 25% of the market and he was concerned about it being that high.
ReplyDeleteI'm not really sure about that but if someone wants to do the math here's a link to all the PLEX on the market everywhere.
Deletehttp://eve-marketdata.com/price_check.php?step=Show&type_id=29668&type=sell®ion_id=-1&solarsystem_name=
Then there's about 3,000 sold every day on Jita alone, another 500 or so a day on Amarr and so on, probably over 5,000 a day in total.
The total sell order value of everything listed everywhere is about 85.5 Trillion.
Then there's the question of how many times was a PLEX bought and re-listed for more? It's certainly a significant number but just how many I don't know.
I suspect close to half of the transactions are resales and if it often happens the exact same PLEX gets bought and resold more than once it could be quite a bit higher than that.
And that's not considering contracts, I don't work contracts so I have absolutely no idea how many PLEX are in contracts or how many move per day in them either.
If you want to take out the main hub regions, it even does better than the main hub regions...
ReplyDeleteAs far as PLEX goes, I would love if it has a tipping point where being too large, or small a part in the market has some kind of concequences.
Actually I didn't say if you take out the main hub regions, I said if you take out the main hub numbers. IOW subtract the numbers for the main hubs themselves from the numbers for the regions they're in.
